About
In the plaza, facing the Barcelona Cathedral, this little boy took advantage of a large bubble floating close to the ground.
Our beautiful word
Twenty-two thousand foot Ama Dablan, "Mother's Jewel box," is located in the Solo Khumbu region of Nepal. It is a predominant feature as you trek toward Mt. Everest, which looms in the distance.
Details: Olympus OM-1 and Olympus zoom tele lens. Didn't taken any notes, so it is either Kodachrome or Ektachrome film
Through My Lens
In 1985, while in Yunnan Province, China we visited the village of Shigu. It is where the Yangtze River makes a very sharp turn to the North. As I was wandering about taking photos, this little girl appeared behind me. I turned and captured this image, just about the best "grab shot" I've ever taken. Since China was still officially closed to Western tourists I have no idea where she got her red-headed Caucasion doll.

Details: Olympus OM-4T, probably a 50 mm lens, either Ektachrome or Velvia film.
People Around the World
The large rainshaft, from a July monsoon storm, is providing Northern New Mexico's Nambé reservation with much needed moisture. In the distance is the Rio Grande Valley.
Captured
Throughout the year the 13,000-ft Truchas Peaks frequently burst into color right before Sunset.
Sunrise Sunset
A local woman raised alpacas, and made finger puppets from the fur. I gave her a photo of our calico cat, and she created a very close replica.
